What an incredible moment for the 18U Rep Essex Yellowjackets as they gathered at the Essex Arena to receive their Ontario Baseball Championship rings! This ceremony celebrated the hard work, dedication, teamwork, and heart that led to an unforgettable championship season. From long practices to big wins, these athletes earned every bit of this achievement. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families—your commitment and passion truly paid off.

Dear Essex Minor Baseball Families, The Essex Minor Baseball Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, November 26 at 7:30 PM in the Shaheen Room at the Essex Arena. This meeting is open to everyone — parents, players, coaches, and community members — who share an interest in supporting youth baseball in Essex.

The Essex Select 7s wrapped up their season this week with a fun game against their parents and then pizza at the ballpark! The kids had a great time this summer learning and growing as ball players. They were exposed to a more competitive level of baseball, continued practicing hitting off the pitching machine, and got to play in their first away tournament. Thank you to all of the parents and older siblings who helped mentor and coach our youngest ball players and prep them for their first ever rep tryouts in September!

The Essex Yellow Jackets are excited to announce tryouts for our 2026 travel/rep baseball teams! Tryouts will be held in September — dates and times will be announced soon. Stay tuned for updates and make sure to mark your calendar! Tryouts will be held for the following age divisions: 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 15U, and 22U. We look forward to seeing talented players at the diamonds this September!
